The 2013 Made in USA Certified Award Recipients Announced
Made in USA Certified proudly announces the winners of the inaugural Made in USA Certified Awards to be presented at the 9th Annual Manufacturing Leadership Summit during the Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, May 14th, 2013 at the Breakers in Palm Beach Florida.
The Made in USA Certified Award luncheon celebrates business’s who exhibit excellence in USA manufacturing best practices and standards. Those nominated were evaluated for one of three specific categories; Company of the Year, Excellence in Training and Product Innovation. Companies were also evaluated on their contribution to job creation in the United States, accurate labeling and the promotion of their commitment to manufacturing in the USA.
The winner(s) of the Made in USA Certified Manufacturing Company of the Year are:
- 1) The Earthwise Group (Large company category)
- 2) Excel Dryer, Inc. (Medium company category)
- 3) Casual Creations (Small company category)
These winners were selected based on the following criteria; company growth performance, overall business strategy and innovative approaches such as excellence in internal operations, corporate training and manufacturing processes, including sustainable practices.
The winner of the Made in USA Certified Excellence in Training Award 1) A&M Tape and Packaging
A&M Tape and Packaging is recognized for this award based on corporate training initiatives and professional development programs, as well as evidence that the initiatives contribute to company’s performance. Includes scholarship or promotional programs or others targeted at advancement of manufacturing principles and understanding.
The winner of the Made in USA Certified Product Innovation of the Year Award is: 1) Alliance Rubber Company
Alliance Rubber was selected for its significant advance or breakthrough in products including design, implementation, product performance and market acceptance.
Made in USA Certified congratulates all five winners on their commitment to best practices in all areas along with their staunch commitment to US manufacturing and the creation of jobs through manufacturing.
The Manufacturing Leadership Summit will be held at the Breakers, Palm Beach May 14th-15th where the greatest minds in manufacturing will converge to network, learn, collaborate and celebrate manufacturing.
